Aye Tony, What You Say? - The 61st Annual Tony Nominations - It's A Spring Awakening

UPDATE: Check here for The 2007 TONY Award Winners and Wrap Ups
Check here for Video Clips from the 2007 Tony Awards

The Tony Nominations have been announced. Awards to be given out Sunday June 10th starting at 8pm on CBS.

My beloved Spring Awakening has done quite well already. Here were the Drama League Winners, The Outer Critics Award Winners, The New York Drama Critics' Circle, all in which Spring Awakening won Best Musical. At this point, if it doesn't win the Tony, it'll show just how much of a sham the Tony's are (though they've been doing a half decent job of late). Plus, don't forget to vote in the Audience Awards.

UPDATE. Here's another
Fan Choice Awards from BroadwayWorld.com. GO VOTE!!!

HAHA... Legally Blonde didn't make the Best Musical cut. SUCKA!
Woohoo, Other than the Actress categories, Spring Awakening made the cut in every one it was eligible (I think. let me verify this). WOOHOO for Jonathan Groff and John Galagher Jr.! Woohoo for Bill T. Jones for Choreography, Kevin Adams and everyone else! (I would say Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik too but did we have any doubt about those nods?)

"Tapeworthy"? The real question you should be asking yourself is "Blogworthy"? I read what gets put out on this page and I never know what the hell you're talking about!! What the hell is Spring Awakening?

Alls I can say is:
Touch my monkey!!
