Holy (on(c)e) sheet. "Falling Slowly" is so amazing. Why did I take THIS long to finally see this?:"Falling Slowly" won the Oscar for Best Song this year.
I knew the film is not a documentary but considering that it's filmed with low-budget handicams with a documentary feel, and Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova really did fall in love as their characters did while filming the movie, it sure makes for a honest-voyeuristic feel to the indie musical (now apparently with tentative plans to transfer to Broadway).

ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel about a Broadway version, unless Hansard and Irglova would be in it. And that is doubtful.
