Trekking To See The Stars
I know, everyone's off to see Star Trek today. I'm not really a Star Trek fan but I will admit, it does look good and I trust J.J. Abrams (plus it's got John Cho, Simon Pegg and Anton Yeltson!) and it's getting quite the raves.
Still, is it wrong that I still kinda want to see X-Men Origins: Wolverine, despite the horrid reviews and bad word of mouth?
Is it so wrong that I'm still willing to pay to see this?:
Or this?:
I mean, obviously I'm not alone since Ryan Reynolds is now apparently getting his own spinoff for Deadpool.
Plus is it wrong that I want to see Angels & Demons even though the first movie, The DaVinci Code sucked?
And I really want to see the sequel solely because of Ewan McGregor?
Plus is it wrong that I want to see Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, even though I never saw the first Night at the Museum (not that I figure you would have to see it to understand the sequel. I can't imagine there is that much depth to it all).
And it's solely because of Amy Adams (as Amelia Earhart)? I mean, I kinda hate Ben Stiller, but Amy Adams has enough pull for me to pique my curiosity.
Plus Amy's looking quite fab in that aviation outfit. And Ewan is definitely causing some impure thoughts. I'd definitely confess to him about that. And while I don't really dig the facial hair, it's still Hugh Jackman. And he f#$ken ROCKS. Plus I hear the scenes with him and Taylor Kitsch and Ryan Reynolds is just too hot not to twist into some homoerotic dream.

No, it's not wrong. Give in, Vance. Just give in to your filmgoing desires. ;-)
Anton Yelchin, and the possibilty of seeing Chris Pine in his skivvies is the only reason I'm going to Star Trek....Is that horrible?
