American Idol - Top 2 - Final Performance Night Glee - Pilot - Ep. 101
This is it! The final 2. And Kris Allen MADE IT!!! And my pool pick Adam Lambert made it!!! (Funnily, I was debating between these two for my pick).
Two boys in the finale. Just like last year. But unlike last year, the rocker is the front runner and the clean cut cutie is the underdog this year, but last year, the underdog won... hmm...

(BREATHE) I'MGOINGTOHAVETOWATCHITOVERANDOVERAGAIN ANDLISTENTOTHESONGSOVERANDOVERANDOVERAGAINTHISSUMMER. So yeah, um, I LOVED it. And everyone involved in it. And how awesome did the preview for the rest of the season look with the clip of the Glee club singing "Somebody To Love"? (Which they sang at the upfonts)
Adam Lambert 26 years old Home: Los Angeles, CA Audition: San Francisco, CA Encore Song: "Mad World" (by Roland Orzabal, made famous by Tears for Fears)
Grade: B
Was it me or did he do this better the first time around? Still, he's got that whole performance thing down pat, and he knows how to command the stage.
I loved Glee. As far as pilots go, it really doesn't get much better. Most of the time I watch a pilot and think, "Well, they could have something by November sweeps." Not so with Glee. Sure, there's some Tracey Flick in Lea Michelle's character, but as far as that goes, Tracey was a c**t and Michelle seems sweet. And, yes, the voice overs were also reminiscent of Election, but know what? I freaking love election. And the setup at the end with everyone secretly wanting them to fail is great.

***** - 5 Stars TAPEWORTHY AND WILL watch it LIVE for fear the recording will mess up. Do not attempt to call or try to make plans during this time.
**** - 4 Stars Tapeworthy and I will TRY to watch it LIVE
*** - 3 Stars Tapeworthy, will watch it live if I'm around but if not, will catch it later in the week.
** - 2 Stars Might tape it to watch later as long as I have space and no conflicting shows that have higher priority.
* - 1 Star Won't tape it but if I need something to watch while I fold my laundry (and I'm done all my tapes), I will watch it (ie. Reba).
0 - 0 Stars Will NOT turn on the TV for fear of coming across this show. (ie. According to Jim).

Why didn't I love Glee? I'm not sure. Maybe I should have finished the episode? I dunno.
Maybe I kept getting distracted by the fact that the character of Tracey Flick already exists.
BUT OMG THEY STOP THAT VERSION OF DON'T STOP BELIEVING EXACTLY WHERE I ALWAYS DO! Ever since the Sopranos, I ALWAYS stop it after 'don't stop.'
