But seriously, I watched the whole 2.5 hour show so you didn't have to (well, I lie, I fast forwarded most of it too). Here are the best parts:

So You Think You Can Dance dancers from all 3 seasons in the opening number to the Idol's singing Rihanna's "Don't Stop The Music"!!!:



Man, I miss the SYTYCD dancers! They need to tour TOGETHER! All 4 seasons! I hope this wasn't a trial run for Idols and SYTYCD touring together. As much as I love the Davids (Archuleta and Cook), I hope this was actually a trial run of combining all our favorites! Nick! Pasha! Travis! Dmitri! (Was Neil there or was he already in New York?) and the girls! Lacey! Lauren! Other girls I couldn't tell apart anymore! Ashlee!

That TV star band with James Denton and Bachelor Bob played. Who knew House's Jesse Spencer could play the violin? Damn... that makes him even hotter.

Teri Hatcher sang. She wasn't half bad, but I had thought/hoped that Carrie Underwood would interrupt her in that whole. SURPRISE moments they always do, but apparently it was actually serious.

(Also serious, please give but you don't have to necessarily do it through Idol)

Next best thing up? More SYTYCD dancers! (well, there was other stuff but I didn't really care about Fergie, Miley Cyrus or anything that wasn't the STYCYD dancers... can you tell I have a one track mind?)
