I never actually saw The Little Dog Laughed but I kinda wanted Julie White to win Best Actress anyways, but against Angela Lansbury and Vanessa Redgrave amongst the nominees, I didn't think she had much of a chance. So I'm glad she won.

Then I'm glad she gave her speech. Hilarious!

For a mostly predictable Tony Awards night, it has been mostly pretty entertaining so far (despite the technical difficulties and that odd Tommy Tune tribute to those who passed away).

Oh, and finally a commercial for Hairspray, the movie musical.
