Bet On It! Next Spring on Broadway!

I'm already excited about new musical 13 coming to Broadway next year especially after I finally just saw Parade this weekend (review here) by the same composer, Jason Robert Brown.

The other musical opening on Broadway next spring with lots of buzz that started Off-Broadway (much like Grey Gardens, Spring Awakening, Avenue Q and Rent) is In The Heights. Writer Lin-Manuel Miranda made this HILARIOUS video in response to the already HILARIOUS (and addictive) song "Bet On It" from High School Musical 2.

Note the title of Miranda's video! OMG I can't wait! Plus, Jonathan Groff of Spring Awakening makes a cameo! TERRIFIC!

The original "Bet On It" with Zac Efron (WAAAAAAAA. OMG IT'S ZAC EFRON! SOOOO DREAMY!... as the 14 year old girls (ahem... ) would say) is after the jump. It's already pretty hilarious and needs no parody.
